Boss Stephan Winkelmann talks about the next 50 years.

With a production run of just three units, all of which are spoken for, the Lamboghini Veneno is truly a rare vehicle. It's perfectly acceptable to get excited when a Veneno—in all its carbon-fiber glory—flashes across the screen in the video below. While the stunning images of the Veneno play, Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann discusses how the Veneno, along with the Egoista concept vehicle and an owner's celebration culminating in Lamborghini's home town of Sant'Agata, commemorated the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini in 2013.

Winkelmann also discusses the role of design at Lamborghini. Despite the in-your-face style of cars like the Veneno and Egoista, Winkelmann states that aggressiveness isn't the company's only goal. He says that each vehicle must surpass the previous model in terms of revolutionary design, but not every production Lamborghini will be as extreme as the Veneno or the Egoista. This is likely a nod to the new Huracan, which is a forceful design in its own right, but it's certainly toned down from the cars featured in this video. Enjoy the Veneno and Winkelmann's comments below.
