Somebody Did THIS to a Mercedes-Benz SL500

Mercedes-Benz SL500

Check out the ass on this freak.

If you have never heard of the Filandi Ever S, that’s because this is a one-of-a-kind rendition of a classic Mercedes-Benz SL R129. What used to be the definition of sleek, understated elegance has been morphed into this horrid beast by an Italian man named Moreno Filandi. And while it looks like the lovechild of Frankenstein and alien zombie monsters, it retains all of the Benz’s mechanical underpinnings, meaning its 5.5-liter V8 is still good for 306 horsepower. Unfortunately, all that power won’t help anybody behind the wheel escape from the car itself.

New Mercedes SL due in 2019 with revolutionary new platform

New Mercedes SL

The new Mercedes SL roadster will get an advanced new platform shared with the new SLK

The new Mercedes SL drop-top– due in 2019 - and revealed here in our exclusive images – will clean up its act considerably, and share more than ever before with its baby brother in the range, the SLK roadster.

Mercedes is on a mission to improve the efficiency of its new models, even sports cars, both in terms of the CO2 they emit and the speed at which they can be built.

2015 Mercedes-Benz C400 4Matic Small Review

[alt]

MARSEILLE, France – Because it competes with the BMW 3-series, which almost singlehandedly coined the term "sport sedan," the Mercedes-Benz C-class often gets compared as one. But it's not a sport sedan, and that's just fine, as European bureau chief Georg Kacher makes clear in his review of the European-spec, rear-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz C250. Mercedes will introduce the car in the United States exclusively in all-wheel-drive form, as the four-cylinder C300 4Matic and the six-cylinder C400 4Matic. We had the opportunity to drive the new Benz C400 4Matic a couple of weeks after Georg's review of the not-for-U.S. C250.

Mercedes-Benz Adding Dealers, Models to Van Line in U.S.

Mercedes-Benz Adding Dealers, Models to Van Line in U.S.

It's been said imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If that's the case, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has a lot of fans, even among other automakers. Since its introduction to the U.S. market in the early 2000s, the Sprinter now faces several similarly-configured competitors in the form of the Ram ProMaster, the Nissan NV full-size vans, and the forthcoming Ford Transit

2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class First Drive

2015 Mercedes Benz GLA250 4Matic

When you look at the Mercedes-Benz GLA, do you see a sporty compact crossover or a smallish four-door hatch? Mercedes appears to be hoping that, in SUV-loving America, the GLA will be perceived as a baby G, the most youthful and affordable member of the brand’s SUV family, sitting alongside the GLK, the GL, the G-wagen—and the, er, obviously misnamed M-class. But it also could be seen as a truncated version of the four-door CLA sedan (coupe?), with a practical rear hatch that increases functionality but decreases fabulousness.

Mercedes GLA 45 AMG 2014 - Small Review

 Mercedes GLA 45 AMG
It’s perhaps best to start this review with a statistic: according to an insider at Mercedes the new GLA 45 took just 8.11 minutes to lap the Nurburgring.

That’s just a couple of seconds slower than the lower and lighter A45 AMG did the 14.25-mile course. This means that on the road it will be all but impossible for mere mortals to notice a difference in performance. Really, it will be…
Mercedes A45 AMG review
What you will notice though is the GLA 45’s improved comfort. You can thank the higher ride height and larger tyres for that. That said, with firmer suspension, stronger front knuckle and a 15mm lower ride height than the standard GLA, it can get a bit bumpy especially at slower speeds, but it’s usefully les jarring than the A45.
